About Philip Street

Philip Street has been told that he looks like Tom Fisher, but he insists that any resemblence is coincidental.

A cartoonist, designer, illustrator and animator, he is available for freeelance work (call now! 613-546-5005). One of his steady gigs is the art direction of Compass: A Jesuit Journal. (You can get more information about this intriguing journal of social issues by calling 416-921-0653).

In addition to Fisher, Philip Street is the author of Rip Trousers, a comic strip that ran daily in the Kingston Whig-Standard from September 1993 to July 1994. He is also the author of Madam, I'm Adam, a collection of comic strips based on Old Testament stories published by Wood Lake Books (1-800-663-2775).

Fisher has been published in Toronto's Globe and Mail since June of 1992. Philip lives in Kingston, Ontario, with his wife, Vanessa Grant.
